Our collaboration with UNI+SKK focused on addressing key challenges related to upgrading and integrating their E-commerce platform. The company required a modern solution that would support its current operations and allow for future expansion. Together, we chose Shopware 6 due to its versatility and strong feature set, which was well-suited to their requirements. 

One of the main tasks was integrating the new platform with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to improve data management and order processing. It was essential to keep all existing functionalities in place to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction. Our goal was to create a robust and scalable system that would allow UNI+SKK to adapt to changing market demands and continue delivering high-quality service.

Challenges of the project

During the implementation of UNI+SKK’s E-commerce platform, we encountered several key challenges that significantly influenced the final design and functionality.

Integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP with Shopware 6 on a tight schedule was one of the biggest challenges. The system is complex, and the integration had to be precise to avoid disrupting daily operations. We also had to keep all existing features intact to ensure everything worked smoothly with the new setup.

Another challenge was working within a limited budget. The project needed to be executed efficiently and maintain high standards of quality, all while staying within financial constraints. This required careful resource planning and optimization to meet the project goals without exceeding the budget.

These challenges called for a highly technical approach, meticulous project management, and close collaboration with UNI+SKK throughout the entire process.

The new platform enhances user experience by offering different purchase paths based on customer type, increasing both convenience and satisfaction. One of the major achievements of the project was the seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, enabling smooth data management and operational processes. Automating various tasks significantly boosted system efficiency, reducing the time and resources required to handle orders and other operations.
